Hi, I'm Matt with etrailer. And today, we're gonna be talking about the Draw-Tite Class III Hitch on the back of our 2023 Nissan Murano. This is gonna use a two inch hitch receiver. And we're gonna have this hole on the side, so if you ever need to put a pin through here, you're gonna have that ability. And we're gonna have some safety chain loops on either side. Now, when I'm putting our S-hooks on here, it's gonna be an okay fit, it's not gonna be great though. more

Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the etrailer trailer hitch receiver on a 2023 Nissan Murano. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed on your Murano, and the great part about this one is it's a nice matte black powder coat finish, which gives it a little bit stealthier look because this is an exposed cross tube, meaning you are gonna see a good majority of the hitch below your vehicle, but overall it's a nice clean look. This is going to be a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna be fantastic. It's got, it's pretty much the standard size. So when it comes to ball mounts, bike racks, cargo carriers, anything that you may load up, you're gonna have tons of options available. All of your accessories are gonna stay in place with a five eights pin and clip. more

Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Installation - 2023 Nissan Murano- Video
Hello neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer and today we're taking a look at installing the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver on a 2023 Nissan Murano. Now this is what your hitch is gonna look like when it's installed and it is an exposed cross tube, meaning you are gonna see a good majority of the hitch hanging down below the vehicle, but overall it's not a terrible look. You have a nice gloss black powder coat finish, which is gonna hold up long term. Now this is also a two inch by two inch receiver tube opening, which is gonna be kind of the standard when it comes to choosing accessories. So it's really nice that you have that because when it comes to cargo carriers, bike racks, ball mounts, anything you may put in your hitch, you're gonna have tons of options. Now all of those accessories are gonna stay in place with a five eights pin and clip. more

Hey everybody, Ryan here at E Trailer. Today on our 2022 Nissan Murano, We're gonna be showing you how to install the draw tight trailer hitch receiver. But before we get into that, I'm gonna just take a minute, check this out and make sure it'll work for you. A Murano is one of those vehicles that, people use to do a lot of different things, you know, whether it's pulling a trailer around, or using accessories. So, you know, if it we're me, I'd want a head check, wouldn't be able to do all those types of things, and this one will be able to do just that, You know, regardless what you're trying to get done. In terms of appearance, it doesn't look too bad, I do think the etrailer and the curtain one have a slight advantage error, just kinda how they're positioned and everything else, But this one does have some higher capacity, so if you're looking to pull some heavier things around or use really heavy accessories, this would be one to definitely look a little more into. more

Now, right off the bat, one of the main questions we get is if when you're using a hitch, if you're still going to be able to utilize that factory liftgate assist. Well, this particular Murano does not come with that option, but I personally had experience putting hitches on these Muranos in the past and if you have that option, then I can assure you it'll work just fine. Now, one of the things that separates this hitch from some of the others is that it is going to be a little bit more hidden. Gonna sit a little bit further back, and it's also going to have a matte black carbide finish, which helps it disappear as a result. more

etrailer Class III Trailer Hitch Installation - 2020 Nissan Murano- Video
Hey everybody, how's it going Today we're going to be going over and showing you how to install the "etrailer" trailer hitch receiver, here on a 2020 Nissan Murano. So adding a hitch to your Murano is going to be an excellent idea because it's going to make your vehicle that much more versatile. Now we can obviously use the trailer hitch for towing but if we want to free up some space, inside the vehicle for those long road trips, or we just want to hit the trails, we could easily attach either a hitch mounted bike rack, or a hitch mounted cargo carrier. So, in regards to towing, our trailer hitch here has a "Class 3" rating, which is going to provide us with a 3,500 pound gross trailer weight rating. That's the amount we can pull outward on the receiver tube. And it also has a 350 pound tongue weight rating, which is going to be the downward force on the receiver tube. more

etrailer Trailer Hitch Installation - 2016 Nissan Murano- Video
Rob: Hey, everybody. Rob here at etrailer.com, and today we're going to be taking a look at the etrailer Class III Custom Fit Trailer Hitch Receiver on our 2016 Nissan Murano.Here's what our hitch is going to look like once we have it installed. The cross tube is visible. It's going to sit right below the bumper, but I like the fact that it has that matte black carbide finish on it, because it kind of blends in with the black plastic at the bottom of the bumper, and it's not that visible. Now, what I do like also is that the receiver tube's pretty close to the back end, but we're not going to have to worry about hitting our leg when we're walking behind it because it's just recessed just a little bit underneath the bumper.But it is a Class III hitch, which means it's going to give us that 2" by 2" receiver tube opening, and it's going to have a really wide variety of options when it comes to accessories. Obviously we could tow a trailer, put a ball mount in there, maybe we want to go down to the lake or something with a boat. more

Brian: How's it going Brian here at etrailer.com. Today on our 2019 Nissan Murano, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the draw tite max frame trailer hitch receiver. Compared to some of the other hitches, because of how this one contours to the back of our bumper, it is going to be just a little bit more visible, but I personally think it does make it a little easier to use because we're going to have a little more space to work with. I think this hitch will work really well, not only for accessories, but especially for towing. And I say that because it already has a bracket attached to it to hook up your trailer wiring and we're going to have very large safety chain openings that are really easy to get to, give us plenty of space, and that allow us to use just about any size hook that we might have.Since it is a class three hitch, we're going to have that two inch by two inch receiver tube opening and we're also going to have a reinforced collar for extra assurance. Hi there Murano owners, today in our 2018 Nissan Murano, we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install etrailer.com's class three two inch trailer hitch receiver.And this is what our hitch is going to look like when it's installed. Some of the cross tube is going to be visible underneath, but it's tucked back pretty far so it's not going to be that noticeable unless you're kind of ducked down looking underneath. It's a class three two inch by two inch receiver, so it's going to be great for all of your towing needs. Whether you're going to be putting a bike rack on it and loading it up with four bikes, or you're going to be hooking up a small trailer or a small camper and taking it for the weekend.It uses a five eighths inch hitch pin and clip. Now one doesn't come included with this hitch, but you can pick one up here at etrailer.com. It features plate style safety chain loops, and they do have a rather small or medium size opening, but it should still accommodate most safety chains.It features a 350 pound tongue weight and that's the force going down on top of the receiver and that should be more than enough for a bike rack loaded up with four bikes or a cargo carrier loaded up with plenty of cargo.It also features a 3,500 pound gross towing capacity, which is how much it can pull behind it. more

As you can see, the cross tube is visible, however, it's a round tube and it does have a little bit of a bend to it so it fits nicely with the contour of the vehicle. This hitch is gonna have a black powder coat finish, so, it's gonna resist any rust or corrosion.It's gonna be a class III hitch. It's gonna be two inch by two inch. One of the things you'll notice is that we have plenty of clearance around our receiver, so it makes it a great hitch to use with bike racks and cargo carriers. Don't have to worry about any interference from your bumper.The frame of the hitch follows the contours of our rear fascia nicely to give us a nice clean look. On the side of the receiver you'll find your industry-standard 5/8" diameter hitch pin hole to secure your hitch-mounted accessories. You can pick up a pin and clip separately on the website as part number PC3. That'll just slide through that hole and you can clip it in place to secure whatever item you're installing in your hitch.On the bottom of our receiver you'll find our plate-style safety chain loops. more

Here's what our hitch looks like installed. Many of our customers have been surprised how easy this hitch is to install, even with having no mechanical experience. Also, several of them have mentioned how great of a hitch it is to use with Class 3 accessories. Many have even sent us pictures of them using it with their bike racks.You'll notice that this hitch sits up tight against our fascia to maximize ground clearance. Here's what our hitch looks like installed. One thing that our customers have stated about this hitch they really like is that this hitch does have a higher tongue weight capacity than the other hitch options out there. This gives them the ability to load more weight on with a cargo carrier or having a more sense of a security when using it with a bike rack.One thing that I really like about this hitch is how close it sits to our fascia here, giving us as much ground clearance as possible underneath the hitch but yet still making it easily accessible and easy to use. Also, our receiver here is closer to the back end of the fascia, but it still sits behind it. This will make it easier to put our hitch-mounted accessories in place, but yet we still don't have to worry about running our shin into it when we're loading cargo into our hatch.On the side of our receiver you'll find two pin holes. more

Best 2011 Nissan Murano Hitch Options- Video
Today we're taking a look at the best hitches available for the 2011 Nissan Murano. Our most popular hitches are going to be both a Curt Class III and a Draw-Tite Class III. The Curt Class III is part number 13577. The Draw-Tite part number is 75647. Now, both of these hitches are going to offer us the 2-inch by 2-inch receiver tube opening, and we're going to secure our items with a 5/8-inch diameter pinhole using class III accessories. A few of the visual difference that you're going to see, the most noticeable to me is that with our Draw-Tite we've got a rectangular cross tube and our fascia is going to sit right on top of our receiver tube. We're going to have a cross tube that's going to be completely hidden up behind our Draw-Tite, whereas with our Curt, we've got a rounded cross tube, and this is going to be visible from the outside all the way across. If you're looking to add just the least amount of hitch look to the back of your vehicle or you want it to be as hidden as possible, the Draw-Tite is an excellent decision. Today we're taking a look at the best hitches available for the 2009 Nissan Murano. Our most popular hitches are going to be both the Curt class 3 and a Draw-Tite class 3. The Curt class 3 is part #13577. The Draw-Tite part # is 75647. Both of these hitches are going to offer us the 2" by 2" receiver tube opening, and we're going to secure our items with a 5/8" diameter pinhole using class 3 accessories. A few of the visual difference that you're going to see, the most noticeable to me is that with our Draw-Tite we've got a rectangular cross tube and our fascia's going to sit right on top of our receiver tube. more

Today on our 2010 Nissan Murano, we're going to take a look at and then show you how to install the Curt Custom Fit Class III Trailer Hitcher Receiver. This offers the 2-inch by 2-inch opening. It's part number is 13577. Here's what the hitch is going to look like installed. As you can see, we've got our cross-tube that's going to run across the back of the vehicle here right in the center, what we wanted the 2-inch by 2-inch receiver tube opening. Reinforcement collar is going to be around the end of it and it has that flush front look that Curt does really well, gives it a nice clean look. more

Trailer Hitch Installation - 2007 Nissan Murano - Hidden Hitch- Video
Today on our 2007 Nissan Murano, we're going to be taking a look at and installing the Hidden Hitch Custom Fit Class II Trailer Hitch Receiver, part number 90073. Here's what our Hidden Hitch Class II Receiver Hitch will look like once it's installed. You can see on the back of the Murano it has an even amount of space between the tips and has that real nice aesthetic look on the back of the vehicle. It's going to have that round tube that's going to be fully welded with a black powder coat finish to help prevent any kind of rust and corrosion, and it's going to be fully welded all the way through as you can see. It's going to have a 1/2-inch pin hole and your 1-1/4 by 1-1/4-inch receiver tube, as well as your chain tie downs for your safety chains on either side, offering a 300-pound tongue weight capacity and 3500-pound towing capacity. Got a nice black powder-coated finish on the entire hitch so it blends in nicely with the underbody of the vehicle. The main portion of the hitch is tucked up nicely under the rear fascia, and the only thing really accessible is our chain hold down on either side of the receiver tube. Today, on this 2007, Nissan Murano we're going to install part number 75148 from Draw-Tite. All right, now this is what the hitch looks like when it's installed on the Murano. Next, we'll give you some measurements to help you out in selecting some accessories such as a ball mount, a bicycle rack, or a cargo carrier. From top of receiver opening down to the ground will be about 14-1/2 inches. From the center of the hitch-pin hold to the edge of the bumper will be about 5-3/4 inches. Now we'll go ahead and show you how the hitch is installed. First thing we need to do is get the vehicle raised to install our hitch. To do that, we need to lower our exhaust. On starting off, we're going to install a strap on the bottom here to help support it while we do our work. Tie off anywhere that's convenient to help pull our exhaust. OK Next, we'll go ahead and remove these two bolts for exhaust hanger right here and it's also a good idea to spray some lubricant on the threads on the inside because after a while these threads do get rusty pretty fast. OK, we need a 12-mm socket to remove our bolts. Next, we'll go ahead and remove the bolts for the exhaust bracket right here. Spray penetrant through this hole right here and get behind the bolts and into the threads. Once again, the 12-mm socket worked on this as well and an extension. There's four bolts to remove. more

Now let's go ahead and install our hitch. Now, we're going to begin our installation by going underneath the vehicle and installing a safety strap underneath the rear exhaust here. Now with our safety strap in place, we're going to need to remove a total of four rubber exhaust hangers to allow our exhaust to be lowered down a little bit to give us some working room.
